words and photos from some of my trips

analogue cambodia

Very luck to visit Siem Rep, Cambodia again after almost 15 years.  Lots of development and many things have changed but the people remain as friendly as ever.  Given the tragic history that is very recent I am amazed at the attitude and warmth of these wonderful people.

While it has become more commercial and a lot less confronting, it is still in my top 5 places to visit.  Angkor Wat is a must see, the scale of what was achieved is inspiring.  It felt right to use film to shoot the Temples at Angkor Wat and disappointing I only had one roll and couldn't find any more.

There is still so much to be done to clean-up from decades of war and its worth the trip to the understated but moving Land Mine Museum.  The trip out through the country is worth it on its own.

If you haven't already been I would get there soon before it it totally overrun.
